Bob McMackin, Founder and President
Bob has spent the past 25 years helping businesses transform their employee benefits challenges into employee retention accomplishments. Experienced in all aspects and phases of employee benefits plan management, including plan design, underwriting, project management, employee communications, and plan administration. Prior to starting R. Curtis Insurance, Bob lead United Healthcare's successful entree into the Pennsylvania market. Prior to that he worked at CIGNA Healthcare where he designed self-funded solutions for large multi-site clients. Bob is frequently asked to consult on employee benefits issues by analysts at leading investment management firms. Bob helps individuals and families deal with medical insurance issues and challenges as a volunteer with Joseph's People a non-profit organization that provides support, understanding, friendship and training to the unemployed through its eleven locations in Philadelphia and surrounding counties.
Carol Wong, Senior Account Manager
Carol started in employee
benefits in 1994 with CIGNA Healthcare doing new case implementation. Carol later worked for a large regional employee benefits broker as a Client Service Representative. She provides a high level of service, guidance, and personal attention to her clients on a continuing basis.
Amber Holt, Account Manager
Amber began her insurance career in 1988 with Johnason & Higgins Benefits. Her responsibilities include administration of the office, as well as client services. She is extremely experienced in problem-solving and has excellent relationships with all of the insurance carriers that touch our clients.
Shameka Dupree, Implementation Manager
Shameka joined R.Curtis Insurance in July of 2010. Her responsibilities include client presentation materials, new client implementation management, insurance carrier contact and database management. Shameka enjoys the great relationships she has with our clients and the carriers with which we work.
